Baden is often described as the Europe’s Las Vegas, where more than 60 million rich guys come here to enjoy gamble from all over the world every year. Baden’s gambling house was built in 1824 and now it is the most beautiful and the oldest gambling house in Germany. Since it was built, this gambling house has never been interrupted, even in the World War 2. In 1933, Baden was licensed by Hitler and became the only gambling house in the Third Reich.

The style of the building is baroque, although the appearance is dignified and simple, the internal halls are so luxurious. The layout of many halls is in accordance with the Baroque style, fashionable in French in the 18th century. Ceiling, walls and other places are decorated with all kinds of oil paintings, exquisite and classic style chandeliers make the halls resplendent and magnificent. Fyodor Dostoevsky, a Russia author, once took a gamble all night at here and lost all the things he owned. Later he described such a feeling of gambling addiction lively in his novel called Gamblers, which is a masterpiece.
