Pamukkale, the Most Beautiful Hot Springs in the World

Pamukkale, which is located in the southwest of Denizli in Turkey, is one of the famous hot spring resorts is the world. There are not only natural hot springs formed thousands of years ago, but also queer massifs like cotton. In Turkish, Pamukkale is composed by two words, one is Pamuk (cotton), the other is Kale (castle). Cotton means the color is as white as cotton. Castle is constituted by the entire hillside, shaped like a castle.

There are many hot springs, which flow down from the top of the cave, erode the hillside into the ladder-like. In the flat, ponds are formed and you can sit inside to enjoy the hot spring, which not only release fatigue but also healthy. Mineral in springs are deposited to dye the whole mountainside with white, like the open-air lava. Look down from the above, the hot springs like mirrors to reflect the blue sky and white clouds. A View from the bottom to up, white lava slopes cover the entire hillside like a volcano erupted, it is quite spectacular.

Pamukkale opens special areas for hot springs, many tourists only with bikini into the attraction to enjoy the hot springs. It’s worth noting that you’d better have the hot spring at dusk because it is too hot at noon.
